Each GlowSigns address has been precision machined and handmade to order on Etsy since 2015. A hidden dusk-to-dawn light sensor is integrated into the aluminum extrusion frame behind the front plaque. The 3D numbers are made from 2 layers of acrylic with translucent matte black (color changing) acrylic for the top layer. Inlaid through the back of the rectangular plaque, the numbers appear black during the day and white when back lit at night.
GlowSigns address numbers are completely enclosed and sealed where possible. All electronics are coated to protect against moisture. No fasteners can be seen from the front and only quality materials are used. Like the numbers, the machined side covers have the same matte velvet texture and glow when the sign is on. Each sign comes with a 3 year warranty with high quality UL listed LEDs rated for 50,000+ hours.

It would’ve been nice if the seller could’ve been proactive and advise me if this delay. Once the item was recut was pretty straightforward to install and looks really nice

Frequently asked questions
Does the sign need to be wired?
Yes. 20ft of low voltage wire and a plug-in adapter is included. The sign can not be wired directly to mains but a LED driver could be wired between the sign and mains to provide the sign with the required 12VDC.
Can the sign be powered by solar or battery?
No. Unfortunately solar or a battery would not be able to supply the amount of power required. The average sign draws about 5W of power when lit. A battery pack wouldn't last more than a couple days.
Are other fonts available and can you do letters or include a street name?
Yes. I can do letters and any font as long as they are not extremely detailed. I can also do street names. The minimum cutting diameter is 1/8" (3.2mm). Anything smaller I can not do. Pricing is based on material costs and work involved. Please send me a message or custom order request. Thanks!
